Tight Seal
An overmolded silicone gasket provides a tight seal with compatible Vigor steam table / hotel pans (sold separately). When used according to directions, this cover ensures a secure closure, preventing leaks and maintaining food freshness during storage and transport, making it a cost-efficient option for any operation. For maximum performance, food items should be 1" below the top of the pan to allow room for the cover.

5.0I purchased the Vigor 1/3 and 1/2 Size stainless steel transport covers with silicone seal (2 of each) to go along with the Vigor 1/3 and 1/2 size stainless steel pans. I upgraded from my previous supplies of using plastic containers and wanted something more durable, easy to clean and more aesthetic for the work, community, and personal gatherings that I make food for. Recently used these for a work gathering and these covers worked perfectly. They sealed perfectly and were easy to put on and take off. The food still stayed warm and also did not leak at all during transport (they were used to hold a Thai curry and chicken simmered in a sauce). They fit my needs 100% and I recommend use of these covers to others.
